this is how you do a whole creative photoshoot with just your phone, a tripod and Canva. and when I say that's all you need, I mean that's all you need. because all the magic is going to happen in Canva. so I went to my local library and took some videos and photos of me in different positions and angles. if you take videos, you can screenshot and then the magic happens when you take the photos into Canva. here was my process for one of the photos. for this photo, I wanted to have my childhood self in there and I wanted to look like I was transferring knowledge to her with pixelated folders. so first thing I did was import a picture of my childhood self and use Canva's background remove feature to remove the background. easy peasy, lemon squeezy. I wanted to have some cute retro folder icons passing the knowledge. so I went into Canva's elements section and picked some folder icons. I know they don't look retro or pixelated yet. but we fixed that by using Canva's copy style feature. how I did this is that I found a pixelated element and copied the art style of the pixelated element and use that art style on the folders. now they're cute and pixelated. and voila. and voila, it's giving exactly what I was looking for. this was so much fun to do and I want to see you, so go ahead, get some shots and head to Canva to make them you.
