Here are my top 5 fruits to eat if you're on a weight loss journey. I'm Andrea Marcellus. I help busy professionals lose 16 to 30+ pounds in just four months in a way that is easy and simple and lasts. Kiwis are the gold standard. These happen to be gold kiwis, but any kiwis will do. Not only are these incredibly high in vitamin C and potassium and all the goodness you would expect from a fine piece of fruit, but they help with gut motility. And gut motility. Just keeping things moving is really, really important on your weight loss journey. Enough said. Lemons. I know you're not expecting this one. I put lemon on everything possible for a couple of reasons. One, the juice of half a lemon is about, I think, uh, a third, for most people, of the RDA. Of vitamin C, you need remembering that the RDAs like the minimum for health, but it just means you get a lot from the squeeze the lemon and stuff. Great for salad dressing, great on any vegetables or anything you're doing. But most importantly, it helps with bile production, which is a massively important part of the digestive picture. Apples. Organic envy apples are my personal favourite, but any apples will do what we love them for. Inulin. Inulin is a prebiotic fiber that is going to help feed the good bacteria in your gut, your gut microbiome. That being like, working really-Well, is paramount importance on your weight loss journey for it to be lasting and for your overall health. Avocado is a fruit. Ha ha ha! You know I love me some avocado. This is full of fiber and monounsaturated fats and all sorts of goodness. I can't say enough. Here's the thing. You wanna strategise it. We're not doing really more than a third of it for any meal. We don't wanna, like, overdo our fats. And I'm somebody that leans into healthy fats a lot. But you wanna balance it with your protein and your, um, fibrous carbohydrates as well. Okay. Berries, berries, berries, berries, berries. Berries are the best. They are high in, um, your antioxidants, they are highly anti-inflammatory, they are super high in fiber. Have all sorts of berries. Raspberries happen to be the highest in fibre, if you wanted to know. So there you go.
