What are the best condiments for weight loss? I would always rather you make your own condiments and salad dressings when you can. You’ll have complete control over the ingredients, and most are much easier to make than people realize. But real life gets busy, so when making your own isn’t realistic, there are a few store-bought options I recommend leaning on. Hot sauce is one of my favorite condiments for weight loss. Look for a simple ingredient list with vinegar, peppers and seasonings. Chili peppers contain something called capsaicin. It is a natural, um, assistant for portion control and for getting your metabolism going. So anything, just a protein and a veg at lunch, anything leftover dinner from the night before, whatever. But adding a hot sauce to it. Absolutely fantastic choice. Hot sauces are great because they're vinegar based, but do make sure you're not getting anything that's, you know, just full of gobbledygook. It's pretty easy to just be vinegars and peppers and, um, you know, some seasonings and that's all you need. So and there's a massive variety to them so you can have a different hot sauce everyday, the same food and it's like something new. Primal Kitchen has the buffalo sauce. If you are looking for something for your weight loss and your well-being journey, don't shoot the messenger, but please avoid barbecue sauces like this one. The couple I was just looking at have just four or five different sources of sugar in a relatively small list of ingredients. This is taking your nice clean protein and vegetable meal, whatever you're having, and we're adding a ton of sugar on top of it, not gonna be helpful on your weight loss or well-being journey. That said, if your family is going out to a barbecue restaurant every now and then, enjoy. It's just, what are we doing on a daily basis? What are the condiments we're keeping in our home? We wanna strategize that. And that's not gonna be helpful. Mayonnaise. You can make mayonnaise with just egg and oil. Like, that's all it is. But you get. If you're gonna get one, go ahead and grab one that's made with either avocado oil or olive oil. So at least we're, you know, keeping that pretty simple. And you're looking for ones without added sugar, if you can, or anything else. Um, a mayonnaise is really just olive oil, egg, and some, you know, white, white vinegar. So, you know, you don't need a whole lot. Salad dressings. I prefer you should just use your own acid. A red wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, you know, balsamic vinegar, whatever vinegar makes you happy. And just drizzle olive oil in and stir. You can add some Dijon mustard, you can add, um, salt and pepper. Your seasonings, whatever you want. It's very easy to make salad dressing. If you have to buy bottled dressing, if you want greater flavor, then my answer is always Primal Kitchen. It's made with avocado oil. Highly reputable company, so that would be the way to go. And chosen is also a brand that will use avocado oil and really high quality ingredients in a salad dressing so you can look for them too.
