My top 5 canned foods I always keep in my pantry for weight loss + overall health journey. I'm Andrea Marcellus. I help busy professionals lose 16 to over 30 pounds in just four months in a way that is fun and easy and keeps it off for good. Heart of palm. Hands down one of my most favorite vegetables. It's a little pickly, it's crunchy. I chop this up, I put this in salads, um, you can mix it in with pasta and that kind of a thing. But what's great about it is that it has fiber and protein. Yes, protein. Garbanzo beans. Easy peasy way to get protein and fiber in a salad. You can turn them into hummus. You can. I just toss them in, sauté them with vegetables in a pan that I'm, you know, tossing chicken. And you know how I do that? I always just add, I don't know, a quarter cup or so, half cup of garbanzo beans for the extra fiber, little extra protein, extra smiles, you know, just extra. Oh, black beans. What can't you make with your black beans? Like, you could just mash them with olive oil in a pan and some sea salt and some cumin and some onion powder and have just quick little black beans to make a black bean burrito or something. Um, but I use this most often for my fast Turkey chili recipe. Anything black bean soup. It's just black beans. Have black beans around. Throw them in a salad, eat some. I said heart of palm was my number one, but I lied. It's artichoke hearts. These, I, I. This is my favorite vegetable, really. I think because it's so high in fiber, it's high in protein. Just rinse like you can turn them over on a paper towel or just rinse them a little because sometimes they can be higher in sodium and I like to control my sodium. Yummy yummy yummy. Chop them and put them in everything. Skipjack tuna in olive oil if you can. This one's in water, however you get it. Fantastic to keep in your kitchen all the time.
