Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
I'm moving out of my house in two weeks and I have to come back here and declutter everything. If you're new here, my name is Dana and I've been on a journey to improve my life through minimal moves. The strategy: here, I'm decluttering my entire closet right now, but I'm being extremely harsh with myself because I'm going to be moving to a completely different climate and so I need to be very selective with what I bring and what I bring with me. Let's go! Like I said, I'm not playing around with this. I've already decluttered about eight bags worth of clothing since taking this video. I've developed a couple new rules that might help you out if you try it. First is simply asking myself, Does this deserve to be in my life/space/next chapter? Does this deserve to be taken to the next chapter? Another great one that I've been using a lot is, would I clean it? If it was covered in poop, would I actually clean it off and wear it? And I also think a really important question is asking yourself, do I actually feel confident in it? Like, do I genuinely put this on and think, wow, I look gorgeous today. I'm gonna wear this all the time. If you answered no to any of those questions, then it probably isn't right for you to keep. I've quite literally been decluttering for over a year now because over consumption had me in its grips throughout college. Let me tell you. So now I'm making it my mission to live more minimalist and educate you as I'm going through this to help you do the same. So if you're interested in that, then I'm gonna encourage you to hit follow and then leave a comment below and tell me which one of these questions you're gonna ask yourself first.
