I'm trying to figure out if it's an East Coast thing for girls to call guys kid. Like, I'm talking to this kid, this is the kid I'm seeing, etcetera, etcetera. Like, my wife is born and raised in New Jersey. She's Italian American, and we met in college. And from the day I met her in college, she's always, like, called me kid. Like, yeah, this is the kid, you know, that I told you about, blah, blah, my friend Theo, blah, blah, blah, blah. Obviously we dated, and, you know, we've been together now for 11 years, and, you know, to this day, we're. Now we're married, and she still calls me kid. And recently it occurred to me, like, I grew up on. In California, on the West Coast. I don't think on the West Coast, any girl, like, will talk about a guy and say kid. They'll just be like, yeah, I'm talking to this guy, or, I'm dating this guy. And I'm curious, like, is it just an East Coast thing? It's gotta be, cause I don't think I've heard it anywhere else. And like, for the past year, we. We moved back to New York after we were in LA. And like, now it's coming back to me. Like, I'm hearing girls say kid more, and I'm thinking to myself, like, it's gotta be just an East Coast thing. And I'm curious to know, like, is it? Or like, where did this come from?
