Was Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique worth it??

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique was probably the most expensive hour and a half of her entire Disney holiday. So was it actually worth the $245? We booked the Kingdom Package or the Deluxe Package, because I wanted my daughter to have the full princess experience and be able to select again of her choice from the boutique. The package included her dress, hair & makeup, tiara, wand, accessories. Having her hair styled, makeup and nail polish done, a tiara, a crown, a wand, a carriage necklace, a sash, and a cinch bag to hold the makeup palette and nail polish that they used in her hair on the day. Yes, it's expensive, but let me explain exactly what happened. Our appointment was at 8:45 in the morning. And if you take one tip away from this video, let it be this. Book the earliest appointment you can get! Let it be this, book the earliest possibly can, because before we even got Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, we walked into an almost empty Magic Kingdom. We got those beautiful castle photos that everybody wants with hardly anyone else. Then wandered over to the Regal Carousel to find Stitch riding along with some guests. And loads of other characters were guests as well. It felt so calm and so, so magical. All the crowds. And as we arrived before early entry had started, we were told to take left at the top of Main Street as if you're walking towards Adventureland. And there's a green bridge to the right before Adventureland, and that's where a cast member and they'll while all of their early entry for we wandered. So we were asked to come back five before our appointment, this gave us time to spend some Chip, and who were all wandering around outside the carousel. We also had time to ride our appointment. When we checked in, the first thing my daughter was whether she liked to be called Princess or Queen? That's the question. Or Queen for. She chose Princess, and from that's exactly how everyone first, she got to go into the boutique choose her princess. She'd already decided she wanted to Aurora. There were so many other dresses to choose. All the main princess dresses were there, including Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, Tiana, Ariel, and a few more. She then picked her hairstyle. 4 different hairstyle options. But she went for the classic princess bun, which included a tiara. Our fairy godmother's apprentice came and took us through to the castle, where the transformation. We had one fairy godmother's apprentice looking through the experience, and she stayed completely in character the whole time. She chatted to her, made her laugh, asked her questions and genuinely made her feel like the most little princess in the room. One of my favourite touches were doing her hair and makeup, she couldn't actually the chair face away from the mirror the whole time. Then once everything was finished, they turned her around and well, Boo revealed her reflection. I don't think I'll ever forget that her face. She genuinely believed that she become a real Disney Princess. There were PhotoPass photographers there, capturing the whole experience, so we got loads of beautiful. When she was finished, the fairy godmother's apprentice announced Princess Aurora to the and everyone clapped, which I thought nice touch. But here's the part I don't think enough talk about. The magic didn't end when we left the boutique. The magic didn't stop when we walked out. It it carried on for the rest of the day. Cast members bowed to her and called her princess wherever we went. Guest smiled as we walked past, and during the parade, characters waved directly. Make it pink Make it blue. And the fairy godmothers from Sleeping Beauty came and pretending to do make it pink, make it blue, on her Aurora dress. Even when we met characters, I genuinely felt they spent a little bit longer chatting to her, and I think also gave them of a talking point. She wasn't just she wasn't just wearing a princess dress. To her, she was a princess for the day. And everyone around her helped keep that magic. The hairstyle lasted 2 days. The hairstyle lasted. It survived rides and that Florida heat. The excitement of the day, and somehow even survived sleeping at that. She woke up the next morning with perfectly in. Which I'm not surprised, considering how much gel they used. And even stayed strong through a whole Typhoon Lagoon on day two. The makeup also stayed put for the day. But because they give you the makeup take home, we were able to top up later in the. So was it worth $245? Absolutely. It is a lot. You're not really paying for the hair, the make up or even the dress. But you're not really paying for the hair, the makeup or even a dress. You're paying for how they make her feel. And that's something Disney know how to do perfectly. Watching her little face when they turn that chair, seeing her confidence for the rest and watching her genuinely believe she was a Disney princess. That's a memory that I will treasure forever. And she certainly won't forget anytime soon either. The only tiny downside there was a little bit of waiting around each stage, so the whole experience took a half. I think without those waits it probably been closer to an hour. Honestly, it did not take away from the experience. If you're thinking about booking Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, my advice is this. Book the earliest appointment you can get. Keep checking for cancellations if you don't manage to book exactly 60 days before. And also if you're booking from the UK, you do have to use a VPN to the booking page, so don't panic if you can't get it to work to start with. I would genuinely 10/10. 10 and I'd book it again in a heartbeat. As I said, you're not paying for the makeover... you're paying for the magic that she believed was REAL. You're paying for the magic that she believed was real.
