Tap the link in my bio to start the drawing drills course. The Mountain Range Drill isn’t really about drawing mountains. It’s about repetition. By drawing mountain after mountain, you’re training yourself to see landscape forms, simplify them into clear planes, and practice different ways of shading those planes to create depth. That’s why I like exercises that repeat the same subject. You aren’t just finishing one drawing and moving on. You’re giving your brain dozens of chances to solve the same problem a little better each time. That’s where real improvement happens. Not from drawing one perfect mountain… But from drawing fifty of them.
