Tap the link in my bio to start the drawing drills course. Don’t start a tree by drawing leaves. Start general to specific. Map out the large silhouette first. Then separate the tree into a few big groups of light, midtone, and dark. Once those large shapes and values are working, THEN break them apart into branches, smaller clusters, leaves, and texture. You don’t need to draw every leaf to make something look like a tree. Big shapes first. Big values second. Details last.
