Somebody asked me if they should take it to HR. So here’s how they actually work. Everybody thinks HR is neutral. They’re not, their job is protecting the company, and the risk is you. People think it’s confidential. It’s not, they decide who needs to know. And everybody assumes if they’re right, HR backs them. Nope, they side with whoever’s cheaper to lose.
