well here's how I would respond to that It is not the manager it is the one at the top whatever's wrong at your company quit blaming the manager because the real decisions actually get made way above their fucking head and there's a name for what's driving those decisions I call it Pinnacle greed it's what happens when the people at the very top forget about who built the place the employees are the foundation of every organization always have been always will be but once ownership starts serving their own damn pockets every decision below that follows the money here's how you know it's happening your manager keeps saying I hear you and nothing ever fucking changes that's because the middle can only do what the top allows what the top allows you know your manager could be right about everything and it wouldn't matter because permission lives upstairs now here's the part that actually matters for the people out there stop waiting for the company to become what it says it is because it's already told you who it is because it's already told you who it is watch what the top funds and what it ignores because that's the honest org chart because that's the honest org chart you know plan your loyalty and your exit off of that one the employees hold the building up it's just that somebody upstairs forgot who's holding the fucking floor up forgot who's holding the fucking floor up
