If you're sick of your own shit, I think this is going to be the series for you. Welcome to The 180. This is a brand new series that I'm starting because I looked like I did in my late 20s and this is what I look like now. And it has little to do with the exterior and what you look like and more about glowing from within, gaining confidence. I can say with my full heart, the last two years of my life, I'm 32 now. I have glowed up in every single aspect, financially, relationships, career, friendships. It's all because I built that brick by brick. My daily habits are very intentional. Are they perfect? Absolutely not. But I'm going to start a series and every single episode is going to be a little different category. We're going to talk about finances, we're going to talk about self-confidence and little things that you can do every single day to build your dream life because I'm slowly building mine and it is the best feeling in the world. Just feeling like me in my own skin. And I want you to feel the same exact way too. Episode 1: Declutter your life. This is going to sound dramatic, but decluttering has changed my life. And this has been a long process, but you have to start somewhere. Step 1: Start small. Do not start with the whole room at once. Start with one corner of a room. Do not do the whole room at once. It's going to be a very long and tedious process. But for example, go through one drawer at a time. Take out anything you have not used in six months to a year. Donate, sell, do whatever you have to do, but get it out of your space. Trust me. Number 2: Does this represent present + future you? Ask yourself, would I buy this today? If the answer is no, get rid of it. I am personally not the most sentimental person. I just hold onto birthday cards, anniversary cards, but other than that, I will throw anything out that does not have meaning to me anymore. Number 3: Everything has a designated spot. If it doesn't have a home, it means you don't have space for it. So it means you probably have to declutter a bit. Find out what's actually necessity you use day to day and only keep those things. Number 4: 24-48 hour rule. Set a 24 to 48 hour rule with shopping. If you want something, either write a list in your notes app or just wait a day or two before you actually hit purchase. I don't care if it's Amazon, I don't care if it's physical in store, wait 24 to 48 hours. And if you still want that thing, go buy it. But other than that, hold on and I think a lot of times you're going to thank yourself later. Number 5: 10-15 min tidy everyday. This is actually the biggest game changer for me. It's spending 10 to 15 minutes every day. I don't care if it's in the morning, middle of the day or at night. Doing a little baby clean sweep of at least like your bedroom. Do one area of the house. It's like the kitchen, all the dishes are out of the sink, into the dishwasher. In your bedroom, make sure everything's in its place before you go to bed. It compounds and your space is going to be clean at all times. Trust me. Last but not least, is decluttering the little spaces that you don't think about so much. I'm talking your digital space, your laptop, your email, your phone, your car. I do not get out of my car without taking everything inside. So that there is zero in my car. Every single time I drive. So zero cups, zero dirty napkins, zero bags. Get everything out of your car immediately. And then it won't pile up. If you enjoyed this, follow along because episodes are just going to keep getting better and better, trust me.
