WHAT DOES A WOMAN IN HER 30'S EVEN DO THAT DOESN'T HAVE KIDS AT THIS POINT???

What does a woman in her 30s even do that doesn't have kids at this point? Well sister... I am so glad you asked. Let me just explain what my Friday night is looking like. I slammed my laptop shut after work and then I took an everything shower with 15 bath products because I own all of the square footage on my shower shelf. I put on some eye patches. I cooked myself an unnecessarily elaborate dinner and then I plated it on my nicest dishes while listening to smooth jazz. I'm gonna watch three episodes of the OC because I'm about to hit the Tijuana episode. I have chocolate chip pumpkin bread baking in the oven. No, it's not too early. And I ate half the batter without some man in my car telling me I'm gonna get salmonella. And the best part: I didn't spend my night wondering if some guy's gonna text me back, if I looked good enough, if I was at the right place. I have zero FOMO. So just a reminder... being single is not the same thing as being alone. Of course. I hope to one day have more of a child than this nugget. To have a partner and a big, beautiful family, but I refuse to believe that my life is on pause until then. I don't know... I think this chapter is pretty special too.
