raise your hand if your mom wore one of these in the 90s or early 2000s mine definitely did no, it's not a chinchilla we're bringing it back and i wanted to show you how to do the easiest sleek/ messy bun with it this is the hairstyle that Monica Geller is wearing when she's running around New York City in 90 degree weather all i've done is separated my bang pieces pulling the rest of my hair into a ponytail taking my hair scrunchie I got this really inexpensively on Amazon and using that as the ponytail holder and use a regular hair tie to tie this up into a messy bun and we're just gonna play around with it make sure it's messy enough to our liking and then take any curling iron or flat iron and we're just gonna flip the ends we don't need a lot of curl just a little bit of texture also gonna curl the front pieces we don't have to be too precise with this this whole hairstyle has taken me maybe one minute next we're taking some bobby pins and then we're just gonna pin up some of our hair I feel like today might be more of a side part personally when it's really hot outside, I like to slick my hair so I basically just take my hair, place it where I wanna put it and then take a little wax stick and just slick it and then I put it underneath this hair here and pin it to my head you can always leave a little hair down* because it's so hot, I'm going to do it all just holding my hair where I'm gonna want it and then taking a wax stick, smoothing it out and and pinning it underneath all of this floppy hair then I'll go around and just take little pieces and kind of haphazardly just pin them really no rhyme or reason I just want it to look good from all sides and then final step: I just want to make sure everything is slicked down so I take a little product on a mascara wand and that's the final bun you can't tell me that Monica Geller and Rachel Green would not immediately wear this this is a hairstyle that can go from weddings to workouts let me give you a 360 from the front, from the side, from the back, from the other side like I said this took me like a minute and a half and it just looks really chic and let me know if you want my exact hair piece linked
