just because its Fall doesn't mean you have to retire your favorite summer fragrance. Here's how I'm fall-ifying mine. I am so excited to partner with Macy's today because we're talking fragrance layering, which is honestly my favorite way to make a fragrance feel completely different. I have shared Casilli from Parfums de Marly with you guys 100 times. It's feminine, it's fruity and that juicy plum note is so good. But going into fall, I want to keep that fruitiness but just make it smell a little richer and warmer. Okay, I went to Macy's and smelled... basically everything. So I'm starting by layering with the Amber Vanille Body Cream from Laura Mercier. It gives me that really warm, creamy amber vanilla base. And this immediately makes the whole combination smell more autumnal. Okay, this is where the fragrance selection at Macy's is so fun because there are so many scents to discover and experiment with. So I went in store, I tested so many different combinations, but I landed on the Burberry Goddess perfume and you guys, this is perfection. What I loved about this pairing is that the vanilla and suede in this, it adds this deeper, warmer element that just makes everything feel so much more fall. So now with my trio, I have that juicy plum, but I've added creamy vanilla and that warm suede and amber. But this is why I love fragrance layering.
