I lost 50 lbs. in a sustainable way without hating myself and this is the most important thing I wish someone told me before I started. I would like to make my weight loss journey a series on my channel because it's something I struggled with for over 10 years. So if you're interested in hearing about it, give me a follow. Every single personal failure in my life, even outside of fitness, has been the result of refusing to do a moderate amount of work over a very long period of time. Far too often I was trying to lose a lot of weight very quickly, which always caused me to burn out, hate myself, and eventually stop. And this lasted, I kid you not, for 10 years. For someone like me to finally achieve a significant weight loss and keep it off, for exercise, I literally had to start so fucking small, it literally didn't make sense to do it. 10 minutes of beginner standing cardio video on YouTube, three days a week. No gym, no equipment, no moving furniture around to make space, just me walking in place in front of the TV. This was way less capable, but at this point I was so deep into this never-ending cycle that I completely stopped focusing or even fitness. I was simply trying to build my fucking consistency muscle. Because you know, at a certain point, you're on the floor eating your second Wingstop order and you're like, fuck it. I no longer give a fuck how long this bullshit takes me. I don't care if it takes forever. What I need is consistency. No fucking deadlines. No 'I have to lose weight by summer.' Let's just learn how to be consistent. That's myself. And that's what I did. And guess what happened? It didn't take forever. I did the same exact thing for my eating habits, which I can go into depth in the series. Now I can do an hour of low impact to moderate cardio a day, no problem, as well as 30 minutes of strength training for five days a week. It's not a problem for me anymore because I built the consistency you. If you were to tell me from a year ago that I can do an hour of cardio a day, I would not have believed you. I am very proud of how far I've come. I do have some ways to go. So if you're interested in this becoming a series, definitely let me know. I want to go over my whole weight loss journey. What it took, all the pitfalls, all the stupid diet I embarked on. I would like to share my story so that you guys don't make the same mistakes I did. Bye!
