Singaporean seniors are learning parkour for their health. A 33-year-old coach in Singapore is teaching people in their 60s and 70s how to vault, jump, roll and safely break falls, with videos from his classes racking up millions of views online. Tan Shie Boon started the program after a 64-year-old woman asked if parkour could help improve her balance. After just two months, she no longer needed to hold onto a trolley while walking to class. One student, 69-year-old Betty Boon, says the training has even helped her carry her own luggage up steep train station stairs in Japan. The unconventional workouts focus on strength, balance, reaction speed and fall recovery, skills that can become increasingly important as people age 💪 #Singapore #Parkour #Fitness #HealthyAging #Wellness
