It looks like EY just climbed from the bottom to the top in terms of audit quality. Like only 5% of their audits came back with comments from the PCAOB and so that makes them in par with how Deloitte is performing and jumps over KPMG and PWC. Along with them vaulting to the top on in terms of audit quality. They also doubled their CPA bonus recently to 10k, which is starting to make EY more attractive to a lot of younger talent. And if you are interviewing for these firms, this might be something that you start paying attention to, especially as other firms are struggling to maintain their credibility after facing scandals, hallucinations on their AI reports, a lot of things that other firms are struggling with where EY is trending in the other direction. I know going to any Big Four is great, but it might be something that you think about as you're comparing offers, if you do want more accounting advice, make sure to follow and like.
