Unspoken rules of college lectures Here's how to not be that person in your college lectures. Starting off with number one, I will say this is the biggest pet peeve that most college students have and that is when somebody asks a question that was literally just answered. And the whole class has to listen to something that was already said and you're just wasting everyone's time. Next up, if you're coming in late, come in quietly and sit in the back. Or if the doors in the front, then sit at the front. Essentially just don't be the person who comes in late and walks down the entire lecture. I've had profs call students out for this before. Like literally stop lecturing and be like, why are you walking to the front when you're late? Like, you're literally just stopping the entire class. Okay, next up, if you're going to be eating snacks in class, which some people do, it's totally okay to eat in class. Especially because a lot of your classes are like early, you might not have time to eat before them or you're running from class to class. Just try and bring food that comes in quiet packaging. Don't be the person who's like opening bags of chips and rummaging through it. Like you're just making the people around you angry. Okay, next up is kind of a big one because I feel like this is a big change in my high school but you don't need to ask to go to the washroom. If you need to go, just go quietly. Anyways, that's it for today. School is almost back in session, so stay tuned for a bunch more college tips.
