Well it finally happened. I got fired. If you're new here, my name is Mark. I've spent the last six years creating content on TikTok and Instagram. Man, how's Christmas? Fine. You know, ceiling fan can't hold my body weight. So could have been better. I've grown multiple accounts to over 100,000 followers. While at the same time, I've spent over a decade working in nonprofit tech, helping some of the most inspiring organizations in the world, raised billions of dollars. Mark Cross, Sales Director, drink number 18. In many of you who have seen some of my viral videos might be asking Mark, why did you get fired? And unfortunately, I signed an NDA. So I can't talk about the reason why. Now, many people may speculate something it had something to do with my content. I guess we'll just never know. But now, faced with the dim prospect of re-entering the corporate world, which is draining the life from my soul, or taking a wild content creation as a full-time business, which is putting my entire financial future in jeopardy. While I have a family who relies on me as the sole breadwinner in our home, I've decided to say fuck it. If now is not the time to pursue this thing that I love, there will never be time. The new handle is Dorojo.io. That's the website as well. And that business is gonna focus on two different things. One is creating content for this channel and Dorojo as I go behind the scenes and creating company sharing everything I've learned about content creation over the last six plus years, as well as social media growth consulting for socially minded small businesses. Is this gonna work? No. I have no idea. But I do know one thing for sure is I'd rather start a video by saying I created my own business and pursued my passions, but failed, rather than start another video by saying, I was fired.
