Why it worked

The creator taps into a relatable experience of owning worn-out, beloved items and the surprise of discovering they aren't the expected brand. The DIY aspect of creating a bag charm from the inspiration adds a creative and engaging element, while the direct question to the audience encourages interaction.

Summary

The creator is making a bag charm inspired by their old, worn-out slippers. They initially believed the slippers were UGGs but discovered they are not, prompting them to consider buying a real pair. The video showcases the process of creating a clay slipper charm and asks viewers for their opinion on the design.

Structure

1Introduction and inspiration from old slippers
2Discovery that slippers are not UGGs
3Creation of a clay slipper charm

Let me know what you guys think about this one. Do you love it, hate it, pink beads or no beads, or no beads at all? But for now, we still have a long way to go. Stay tuned to see what I make next.

day 6 🧸 these have been my emotional support slippers for YEARS and I just found out they’re not actually @UGG® 😭 I fear this means a pair is in my future #bagcharms #craft #polymerclay #handmade #polymerclayartist Turning the things I can't live without into clay beads until I make the world's longest bag charm. We're turning the things I can't live without into clay beads until I make the world's longest bag charm. Today we're making my UGGs, or what I thought were my UGGs. Guys, I've had these for years. Them. I mean, look at them. They've been through everything with me and they're so worn out. Decided to pair. While I was looking them up, I realized that these are not actually UGGs. I fear this means a pair is in my future. And how am I finding so accidentally, the entire receiving compliments when I would wear these slides and I would just say thanks, they're UGGs. But after wearing these into the ground, it might be time for me to graduate to my first pair of UGGs. Let's add the finished bead to the bag charm. After the video where I showed you guys the pink beads, I decided that I actually don't love it. So I changed it to pearl beads. Let me know what you guys think about this one. Do you love it, hate it, pink beads or no beads, or no beads at all? But for now, we still have a long way to go. Stay tuned to see what I make next.
