This girl made a post on here asking what's the brokest thing you've ever done and the comments had me dying laughing. Let's get into it. Starting off the list strong we have couldn't afford to get my car looked at so I posted it for sale on marketplace and told them they're welcome to bring a mechanic to check it out. Got that free diagnostic. Drove a U-Haul to work for 2 weeks wayyyy cheaper than a rental. Supervisor was like "Dang you still moving?" Me: Yes & mind your business. Downloaded DoorDash app, took like 4 orders back home with me then deleted the app. Called AAA to tow me to work because I didn't have gas to make it. Baby I was at Zaxby's drive through and recognized how they take your card and instantly give you the food while they wait for the receipt to print. I gave them a visa gift card that had no money on it and drove off. Stole a pack of chicken, put it under my coat when I was on my way out the store, the chicken fell out my coat and I yelled "who threw that chicken at me". When I worked at dominos I told my friend to call in a order and never come pick it up so I can take it home to eat. My ex's truck didn't lock in college and my best friend and I knew he kept quarters and coins in the cup holders so we opened the door while he was at football practice for Taco Bell money lol back when tacos were $1. I went through old birthday cards to see if I missed some money. I was so broke dawg. If my job has trash bags, food, soap, ect.... so do I. Got free clothes & shoes off facebook market and went straight to Plato's closet to sell them. I was down badddddd. Worked at McDonald's at the time and as a manager you had to confiscate all fake money. So dude gave me a fake $50 I took it to another restaurant gave it to them got the change and used it to buy food and gas for the rest of the week. I was so broke, I had $9 left on my card and I needed to take a Lyft. I started walking and just kept checking the app until it went down to $9 to get home whew chile at that point I could've just walked all the way home smh. I participated in a parenting class in exchange for a $25 visa gift card, but I don't have any children. Girl I only had spaghetti sauce in my cabinet and didn't get paid for another couple days.. I was drinking the sauce like it was a V8 juice. These comments I mean a chokehold. I hope everybody who commented on that was living in poverty at one point or another. I hope you're all doing good now. Alright I got to go. I'll call you back later. Bye.
