MY HUSBAND MADE HONEY BUNS...

So here is how I made them 😂 Honey Buns Ingredients Dough 1 cup warm milk 1/3 cup sugar 1 packet instant yeast 1 egg 1 egg yolk 1/4 cup salted butter, melted 2 tbs shortening, melted 1/2 tbs vanilla 3 1/2 cups bread flour, scooped and leveled Filling 2 tbs butter, melted 1/4 cup sugar 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 2 tbs flour Icing 2 cups powdered sugar 2 tbs honey 2 tbs butter, melted 2-3 tbs milk Instructions In a large bowl, add the warm milk, yeast, sugar, egg, egg yolk, melted butter, shortening, and vanilla. Mix well. Add the flour and knead for 5-6 minutes. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes. In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and roll into a rectangle. Brush with the melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the top. Roll the dough up tightly and cut into 6 equal pieces. Place the buns on a parchment lined baking sheet, and press them down. Then cover and let rise for another 30 minutes. Heat oil to 350. Fry the buns for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Combine the powdered sugar, honey, melted butter, and milk until smooth. Pour the icing over the warm buns and let set for about 10 minutes before serving.
