If cinnamon rolls had babies, these would be them. Let me show you how to make them. All right, the first thing you need is one stick of butter. This is the mixing bowl that I'm just gonna be doing the whole, like, cookie batter in. And I'm gonna melt my butter right in here, that way we don't have any more dishes. Alright, to the butter, we're gonna add white sugar. You need one fourth of a cup. And three fourths of a cup of brown sugar. Then you're gonna add one egg. Apparently, Mexican vanilla is the thing. I didn't know about it. I just got myself one, like, and I'm trying, I'm really excited. But you need two teaspoons. I just eyeball it with the cap. Now, flour. We need one cup and three fourths of flour. I'm running low on baking powder. Somebody remind me to add it to my shopping list, but you need half a teaspoon of baking powder and half a teaspoon of baking soda. And half a teaspoon of salt. Now, carefully, just fold your batter over. Not too much, 'cause it into batter. So you can see, okay? All right, now we're gonna set this to the side and start working on the filling. And by the way, my oven is preheating to 350. For the filling, you need three tablespoons of butter. I'm gonna melt this. To the butter, we're gonna add half a cup of sugar. This is all the cinnamon I have. We'll be one tablespoon and a half. I know, pretty perfect. Add cinnamon to the list, please. And flatten this out and throw it in the freezer for like, minutes, long, however long it takes me to clean up my area here. And then we'll come back and add it to the batter. It took a lot longer than 10 minutes, but it's fine. What I'm gonna do is spread out my batter a little bit. And then I'm gonna break this cinnamon butter mixture situation into it. Carefully, fold your batter over. Not too much, 'cause it into batter. So you can see. Okay? All right, now these are going into the oven at 350 for anywhere between 10 to 12 minutes. I'll do my next tray and I'll show you what they look like when they're all done. You guys smell my kitchen right now? Smells so, are good. My kids are fighting me to eat them, but they're still super hot. So, we're gonna put them on a wire rack to cool down. You guys can come try the cookies now. My gosh. Did you guys plan that? No.
