I've been absolutely obsessed with gut health for probably the past three years now. It took me from being this little cookie monster to two. You know, before starting this journey, I just felt dull. Like my hairline was actually receding, which was very personal for me. I didn't like. My skin was just blah. And this is what I wish somebody told me before I was dealing with all this. Your GI tract is huge. It's over 28 feet long. Like for context, a giraffe is around 16 feet. So it's like a giraffe and a half. And within this 28 feet, you have an ecosystem of bacteria, fungus, and parasites. And none of these things are necessarily good or bad, but when they are in the wrong place or you have an overgrowth, that's when you can get gut issues. Removing things from your gut. So here is the exact three-step protocol I have used: remove, repair, re-seed. It's pretty simple. The first is removing different bad things from your gut. I've done a lot of videos on this, but there are herbs that you can take that are antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic to remove a lot of the overgrowth. The second is repair the gut lining. L-glutamine, Triphala, Quercetin, Colostrum, Collagen. All of these things will help repair the gut lining. You know, a lot of people have toxins being released into their bloodstream because the tight junctions in their gut lining are not sealed. I've been a huge advocate of collagen for a while now. And a lot of people think of skin health when they think of collagen. And that's true, you will get better skin, but it's also really good for your gut. I've tried a lot of different collagen brands. I actually used the Vital Proteins for a while before they got bought by Nestle. I'll take the brand Cevitol. It's a type one marine-based collagen. It's so helpful at repairing the gut lining. You know, a lot of people have toxins being released into their bloodstream because the tight junctions in their gut lining are not sealed. It's also in this like ultra-fine particle size, so it gets absorbed by your gut much easier. You can pick it up on Amazon. Also, the Amazon page has a lot of great resources just explaining how this stuff works. A lot of doctors, a lot of pharmacists, they recommend this stuff, which honestly, you don't see with a lot of collagen brands. Was Cevitol. Cevitol fish collagen < 300 Dalton. Certificate of origin. Heavy metal analysis through Europe. Collagen peptides - fish. 5g / 3x day. Purity: <99%. Vitamin C. Hyaluronic acid. Biotin. EPA. DHA. 3. Re-seed. Lastly, is re-seeding the ecosystem. Fermenting your own yogurt is one of the best ways to get the most amount of probiotics in the shortest amount of time. Also taking Kombucha, sauerkraut, kimchi, just great ways to get a lot of probiotics in the 28 feet that is your digestive tract.
