Now that we’re back into the swing of things, here’s another week of quick and easy dinner ideas! With it being the first full week of school, I was focused on planning meals that took thirty minutes or less! Let me know if you try any out, and what you think the best marvel movie is!!! The Menu: • Korean ground beef • Broccoli cheddar orzo • Creamy vodka pasta • Taco salad & avocado lime ranch • BLTs #DinnerIdeas #dinnerfortwo #weeklydinner #EasyRecipe #marriedcouple It's been kind of stormy and rainy in Indiana recently and this was just such a cozy dinner. It was warm, cheesy, and delicious. This meal is a staple in my house growing up and it's one of the quickest dinners to throw together. The sauce only takes a couple ingredients! I'll pop everything on the screen that goes in the sauce but essentially just brown a pound of ground beef and pour your sauce over it and let it simmer together. You could also add any veggies you like to this. I chopped up the biggest green onions that I've ever seen and served it over white rice with some green onions and sesame seeds on top. Next up was a broccoli cheddar orzo, but it's essentially like broccoli cheddar orzo, but in a pasta form. I have the full recipe posted with all the exact measurements posted from earlier this week if you want to go check out. But it was super easy to make and I loved it because it only took one pan and made for super easy cleanup. It's been kind of stormy and rainy in Indiana recently and this was just such a cozy dinner. It was warm, cheesy, and delicious. I've had a lot of people ask how we make $100 stretch over the week for groceries. So I'm always on the lookout for recipes that reheat well and this is definitely one of those. And to round the week off we had BLTs. We were actually doing a movie marathon tonight because we are on a mission to watch all of the Marvel movies in order because there was a ton of them that I have actually seen. So this went perfectly with a movie marathon. Next up was a creamy vodka pasta, minus the vodka lol. This is one of my husband and I's favorites. So I started by sautéing some butter, onion and garlic in a pan and adding a 6 oz jar of tomato paste. I deglazed using chicken broth because I didn't have vodka but you could use vodka if you want and then I added 1 and 1/4 cup of heavy cream and some parmesan cheese and I used rigatoni noodles for this and I know it's going to turn out good every single time. Next up was a chicken taco salad & homemade avocado lime ranch. So I cooked some chicken in the crockpot and just seasoned it with taco seasoning. For the sauce I added one cup of plain Greek yogurt, half an avocado, half a squeeze of lime juice, cilantro and a ranch seasoning packet to a blender and then I got all my toppings ready to go. You could use whatever you want and then I threw it all together in a bowl and that was dinner for tonight.
