1. Switch majors if you just know it’s wrong. Year 1, 2 or 3 is not “too late”, and staying only makes the switch harder later. And transfer credits!! 2. Check who’s teaching each class before finalizing your schedule. The professor can affect your semester more than the subject, so look through student reviews (Rate my professor) or ask around 3. Save every important university deadline in your calendar or Notion NOW. Add/drop dates, tuition deadlines and internship applications are easy to miss once assignments pile up 4. Look at job postings related to your degree. Not to apply yet, but to see which skills and experience they keep asking for so you can build them early 5. Find one person a year ahead in your program. Ask which classes are unexpectedly difficult, which professors to choose and what they wish they knew sooner You got this🫶🏼
