I have approximately one month to completely declutter and reorganize my entire life before my long distance boyfriend moves in. Exhibit A, exhibit B, exhibit C, exhibit D, E F G. And for some reason, I thought the solution to this would be to order over $800 of new furniture and we wouldn't have an issue today if the very, very large storage slash desk thing I ordered arrived on time. Next week. It arrived today. This is taking up the entire lotty of my apartment. I have nowhere to put it. Let's get to work. This is the entire area we need to clean out right now. Being so honest, I mean, it really wasn't that bad. The worst thing here was the fact that I had to move the desk, and I don't have anywhere to put it. I can't take it downstairs by myself because I put it together so poorly it will fall apart if I give it any gravity. So whatever. Well, that didn't take nearly as long as anticipated. However, we still have a gigantous desk to build. I just opened up my door to find another thing I ordered was delivered. Really? I just don't believe this is it. I take that back. This is definitely it. I can't do it. Well, this is gotta be it. This product comes in two boxes. It's the next day. My second package just arrived. I'm not in a state to explain what I just went through. I just wanna get to work. Okay. I've decided no to pulling out everything because I just don't have that much square footage. We're getting started. It's charged. We're good. Okay. I'm not gonna lie. The cabinet part of this project went by so freaking fast. And I was so proud of myself because I haven't built a piece of furniture in so long. Usually I zone out at some point in the directions and I put a screw somewhere it shouldn't be, or I put the wrong screw, whatever, I have to unscrew at some point. But that didn't happen this time up until I started running into an issue here. Remind me to never again order an arched shaped anything. I will have to build myself, because I probably spent like a good half hour trying to get that arch in, and it looked like it happened. No, no, no. That took way too freaking long. But anyways, we are so back and we are right on track, because now it is time to build the desk, which is the part I'm the most excited about. I love building desks. Hand me a desk any single day, I will take care of it. I will be under it, I'll do it all. However, something I will be a lot less enthused to do is a drawer. I hate drawers. They piss me off, they rage bait me. But chairs are just fine. I love a chair. Well, good morning from my new and completed desk. This only took me six hours. I'm so proud of it. However, this door. I was showing my boyfriend my creation last night, and this door kind of just has a mind of its own. Yeah. I just wanted to show you my new creation in the morning time because the sun was going down by the time we finished last night and my chair. But I got the desk on Amazon and I got the chair on Amazon. I can add them to my storefront (2026 Apartment Furniture) and next all we have to do is stock it with my things. And I'm so excited to get so organized.
