If you're going to Italy, here things you need to pack before you go. Part 2 So my part one was a hit and there was a lot of you that really liked my suggestions and there was actually quite a few things that I forgot on the first list. So here's part two with some other stuff that you really should pack before going to Italy. So the first thing is corded headphones. Yeah, you heard me right. And I actually bring two different kinds of corded headphones anytime I travel. The first one is actually the USB-C one because this one connects to my iPhone. And I obviously bring my Bluetooth headphones, but sometimes a Bluetooth connection is not that reliable. It's probably because these places are usually very crowded and these ancient cement buildings probably have something to do with like the wavelengths. I don't know. But I always bring some corded headphones because if I haven't audio guide and my Bluetooth headphones are dead or they're not connecting properly, I can just plug this into my phone and listen to my audio guide. The second set of headphones I bring are the old school ones that have this port right here. And I mainly bring these for the plane. Sometimes the plane gives you the headphones for free. Other times they ask you to pay for it and sometimes I just don't have them available. So I just rather have my own and this way if I haven't audio guide and my Bluetooth headphones are dead or they're not connecting properly, I can just plug this into my phone and listen to my audio guide. Next is a small umbrella. And you're probably thinking, am I going to Italy in the summer or I'm going during a time that's not going to be raining? Why am I bringing an umbrella? Girl, to protect you from the sun. Listen, you're probably going to think I'm crazy, but you're going to get to the Colosseum or the Roman Forum and there's going to be all these guys outside selling these paper umbrellas for like 10 euros and you're going to be so hot, wanting to shade yourself from the sun. Bet. Give me that paper umbrella. That you're going to use once and throw away. So this one from Amazon, I particularly like this one because it's tiny. It fits in my travel backpack that I talked about in video one. My favorite thing is this strap is like fat. It's not like skinny, so like this thing can get all messed up and crazy and I can just like close this like really, really tight. Also, it's like lined black in the inside, so they advertise it repels the UV rays and you feel cooler. I know it sounds like a bunch of mumbo jumbo, but I really like my travel umbrella when I'm definitely going to sunny places. The next thing is your AirTag. Listen, the AirTag is so important. I've lost my luggage already three times in my lifetime. And one time I was not able to get it back. So I put an AirTag in my check bag, I put an AirTag in my carry-on, I put an AirTag in my personal item. And you're thinking, why do I need to put an AirTag in my carry-on or my personal item? Sometimes the airport or the people at the airport ask you to check in your carry-on because there's not enough overhead bin space. So you just want to be on the safe side. I put an AirTag in absolutely everything so I can track my luggage. Water shoes. If you're going to Italy and you're going to the Amalfi Coast or anywhere in Europe, I've been to Greece and it was the exact same thing. Their sand is not like our sand. Their sand might as well be gravel. It's literally hot rocks. Like this big. The rocks are huge. It hurts to get in the water and it hurts even more to get out. So just make sure you bring your water shoes. And the last thing is actually arthritis pain relief cream. This is actually authoritis pain relief cream, but this is like my hack. This is the one I actually got in Italy because the one I brought from the states ran out. So you'll see that this one says 2% gel and in the US you can only get 1% over the counter. You're going to walk a lot. 20k, thousand steps easy. If you're in Rome, your feet are going to be throbbing by the time you get home. And the next day you gotta do this all over again. You take some of this cream and rub your feet before you go to bed. Put on some socks and I'm telling you, your feet will wake up brand new. Also get some shoe insoles. So I highly recommend you do some kind of pain relieving cream for your feet. And the last thing is actually a linen button-down shirt. Literally any shirt that's long sleeve and button down would work. And I keep this in my backpack and it's because when you're going to the churches, they do ask you to cover your shoulders and cover your knees. Although I've seen people go in with shorts and spaghetti straps into these churches in Rome and they don't get told anything. I've seen people get turned away. So you gotta go in there with respect and you gotta cover your shoulders and cover your knees. So I would just carry this around in my backpack in case you need it. So those are all the additional things I would pack if you're going to Italy. And don't forget to check out part one. We discussed a lot of other things you need to make sure you're packing for Italy. And lastly, if you're planning a trip to Italy, I've already done the overthinking for you. I have itineraries and travel guides linked in my bio. All items discussed in this video and my last one are in my Amazon Storefront.
