Apps you need if you're going to Italy 🇮🇹

These are travel apps I swear by. Italy edition. So my first app is actually Wanderlog and this is not specific to Italy but this is the app I use to organize my itinerary essentially. I love this app because once I'm done organizing everything, I can also share with my friends and family and they can easily just click around and see what we're doing day by day. The biggest feature that I love using with Wanderlog is actually pinning all the locations I'm going to every day and it actually puts it on a map. I can actually see how long it takes me to get from point A to point B walking or driving and this has allowed me to rearrange the places I have to go to to minimize my walking. My second app is Trainline. So I actually didn't use this app the first time I went to Italy, so this is a mistake that I made that you guys should not. Trainline makes it so easy for you to actually buy your train tickets either local trains or high-speed trains and it's very user-friendly. You can access your tickets right there on the app. The app continues so it'll tell you exactly what platform to go to and exactly the times. And in Italy there's not really a TSA or anything you have to do before getting on the train. So getting there 20 minutes ahead max, making sure you're refreshing the Trainline app. You just show up at your platform, you can double check with the board, but Trainline has all the information and it makes it so easy to use the trains in Italy. Then my last app is Freenow. So this is what I use instead of Uber. Uber works perfectly fine in Europe, but Uber is more expensive compared to local taxis and you can't just flag down a taxi like if you're in New York. You actually have to schedule ahead like you do an Uber. So the app I use is Freenow. So this is the app I use to basically call my taxis and I've saved a lot of money using local taxis versus the Ubers. So these are my three apps that I like to use when I go to Italy.
