If you're bringing your hair tools to Europe, please check this before you plug them in. When I posted my Italy packing video, from the comments I realized that there was a lot of people that did not know that this little guy right here is just a plug converter. It is not a voltage converter. So the only thing that this is doing is changing the shape of the plug so you can plug in your stuff. So the US and Europe don't use the same household voltage. So if your hair tool is not made to handle the voltage, it just won't work or you could actually ruin it. And you're probably thinking, I plug in my phone charger or my laptop charger and it works perfectly fine. Well, that's because a lot of modern chargers actually have that dual voltage system built in. Here's my iPhone charger for example. If you see it says input 100 to 240V, which means it would actually withstand both US and European voltage. So that's why when I plug in my charger into here, that goes into the European outlet, it works perfectly fine. The message here is don't assume, read the label! Which brings me to the hair tool that made it to my Italy packing video, my Wavy Talk. And as you can see from the label, this one's dual voltage so I can bring this with me to Europe and I can just basically plug this in to here, plug it into the wall and I'm ready to use it. But take a look at my Dyson. On the label, it says 120V. That's it. That's all it takes. So that means that this little gadget right here only works in United States. So my $600 hair tool stays here, while my $40 dollar Wavy Talk makes it to Europe. Follow for more :)
