Being the primary caregiver for your baby, you do all the night wakes, all the resettles and there's no other option for anybody else to take that over for whatever reason. And the effect that that has is really profound, especially after months and months and months of broken sleep, brain fog, forgetfulness, headaches, fatigue, obviously irritability, few. These are all the effects of sustained sleep deprivation on your body. So it's no wonder you feel it's no wonder you're snapping at everybody. And it's no use up all your energy, sure that you're is good to go and there's anybody else. Coaching community, the village, 65% of families in there are the solo parents in the middle doing all the resettles and all the fades. And that's why me too. So you're the, you're awake all throughout the night, you're managing them, you're on a 24 hour shift with no sleep. This beautiful little gremlin that won't sleep throughout the night. And you have all this noise, people in your life or social media or wherever else it is saying, the crib, don't co sleep with them, to sleep. But these are the, it easier for you. I'm going to talk a lot about what this means for soul caregivers of the night and the primary caregiver during the day, and what you can do to make things a for you. Can have these conversations with people in your life, because they are important conversations. They are conversations I did not have, and I suffered very severely with postpartum depression, and I do think that I could have stopped that had the confidence and how to start these conversations. The single most important bit of information you need to survive this period of time, and this cannot be taken for granted, to understand how to safely go sleep with your baby. Even if you do not intend to, are against it, you will fall asleep accidentally with your baby at least once.
