Divas, today I want to talk about increasing your tolerance for being judged. I say that this is an incredible skill that people who are highly successful have. They're getting judgement tossed at them left and right, and they know how to take it and let it go and not let it sit and simmer within them. If you wanna get better at being judged, the first thing to understand is that almost nothing is completely personal. People interpret through you their own fears, their desires, their insecurities, their values and their experiences. Even compliments work like this. If you see someone and you say, they have a great outfit, oh my god, it is because either you get game, you understand, style yourself, or you want to add more of that into your life. Also something inside of you that you are projecting onto someone else. So having the capacity to even notice something positive in someone is a reflection of you. And judgement works similarly. I'll give you an example. There's someone in my life who sees my boyfriend and I as kind of crazy people. We have tattoos, we listen to rock music, we post a bunch online. I'm always talking to a camera. I'm talking about fashion, things that are inherently vain. And those things that I just listed are some of my favourite things about my partner and I. And there are other people who admire us for the exact same things, same two people, same lives, same two people. Except there is a completely different interpretation, judgement is often a projection of others insecurities on to you on the judgement that I'm receiving. Some people love it, some people hate it. My partner and I are constantly talking about this because I've always worked in a field where I'm constantly getting judgement, criticism and feedback. So I have grown a higher tolerance for it. Whereas he is in a line of work where people are usually giving him praise and accolades. We have a different tolerance for judgement because we were exposed to different levels of it. In part 2, I wanna talk about how to increase your surface area for judgement. And how that brings you both the ability to let that judgement flow through you while also bringing you more love and connection and peace and vulnerability. That can be very beautiful. Okay. Bye.
