Medical Emergency Reported at West Valley Walmart Update: 3:15 p.m., August 28, 2026 A medical emergency was reported at the Walmart located at 6600 W Nob Hill Blvd in Yakima Friday afternoon. Shortly before 3 p.m., emergency crews were observed treating a person who was on the ground near the freezer section inside the store. Firefighters and EMTs were performing chest compressions, and an automated CPR device had been placed on the individual. At approximately 3:15 p.m., a white sheet was placed over the person. The circumstances leading up to the medical emergency are currently unknown. While the situation appeared serious, the person's death has not yet been officially confirmed. The individual appeared to be an older female. More information will be shared if it becomes available.
