[ THINGS TO DO ] A $2.65 MILLION DINOSAUR PLAYGROUND JUST 30 MINUTES SOUTH OF BRISBANE IS COMPLETELY FREE TO VISIT Riverdale Park in Meadowbrook is home to a $2.65 million dinosaur themed playground, and every bit of it is free. The upgrade turned a quiet riverside park into a full prehistoric adventure, with life sized dinosaurs to climb, a fossil dig pit, and eggs and baby dinos hidden all through the grounds. The dinosaur theme was chosen by a Year 9 class from a nearby high school, who were invited to be Councillors for a Day. Sitting on 10 hectares along the Logan River, it is an easy half day out for families, just over 30 minutes from the city.
