I’m 58 and post-menopause, and if you’d told me a few years ago that I’d feel THIS good in my body, I’m not sure I would have believed you. ❤️ At 54, I was carrying an extra 30lbs and thought I needed more cardio, more dieting and more restriction. I didn’t. I simplified everything and these are the 5 things I still do every day: I WALK Nothing fancy. I just make sure I move my body and get my steps in. I EAT PLENTY OF PROTEIN Protein with every meal keeps me fuller, helps stop the constant snacking and supports my muscles. I WATCH HOW MUCH I EAT When I wanted to lose the weight, I made sure I was in a sensible calorie deficit. You can eat healthy food and still eat too much of it! I LIFT WEIGHTS I stopped thinking I needed hours of cardio. I now prefer short 20–25 minute strength workouts to help me stay strong and maintain muscle. I PRIORITISE MY SLEEP I try to go to bed and wake up at roughly the same time. When I sleep well, I have more energy and find it easier to make better choices. That’s it, ladies. Nothing extreme. Nothing complicated. I lost 30lbs at 54, I’ve kept it off, and at 58 I feel stronger and more confident than I did years ago. ❤️ It’s never too late to start. If you’re navigating weight loss in your 40s, 50s, 60s or beyond, give me a follow and let’s do this together. 💪❤️
