Water 1/2 TBS. Salt 1/2 C. Mayo 2 tsp. Celery Seeds Slice onions into thin rings. Mix together the sugar, vinegar, water, and salt; add onion rings to the mixture. Allow the onions to marinate in the brine for a minimum or 4 hours but preferably for more flavor overnight. Drain the onions very well (let them drain off for 15 mins or so). Next mix together the onions, mayo, and celery seeds till the onions are fully coated inthe mayo. Chill onion salad for a few before eating for best flavor.
