You know those Cheddar Bay Biscuits from Red Lobster? Turns out they’re ridiculously easy to make at home! You need 2 cups of all purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/2 a teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder. Mix those dry ingredients together. Then add 1 and a half to 2 cups of shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese from the block. Toss that around in that flour to get that cheese all coated in the flour. Next add 1 cup of cold buttermilk and a half a cup of melted butter, slightly cooled. And just mix that together and fold it over itself just until you don't see any more flour. Now take scoops of your biscuit dough and put it on a parchment lined baking sheet. Then you want to bake them at 425 degrees for about 13 to 15 minutes. Mixing together 4 tablespoons of melted butter, some garlic powder, salt, and parsley. This is that garlic butter that goes on top of those cheddar bay biscuits as soon as they're finished baking. Then pull those biscuits out of the oven when they're finished baking and brush them with that garlic butter that you just made. But look y'all, they don't have to be perfect cause they're homemade cheddar bay biscuits.
