Feeling a little all over the place? If your life has been feeling like 47 tabs open in your brain, this is your sign to hit reset. So I tried these five simple steps to help me and my routine get back on track in 24 hours. Step one is to clear the mental clutter. Sit down and make a list of everything you need to get done. Cross out the things that aren't actually doable and focus on what is. Step two, clear the physical clutter. Dedicate a little time to clear a space around you. I spent some time folding the laundry that had been sitting on my chair for over a week and sorted my office bag. Step three, move your body. This was probably the one that I needed the most. So instead of saying I'll do it tomorrow, I actually showed up for a free yoga session with Eva. And for that one hour, I wasn't thinking about anything stressful, just breathing, stretching, and moving. I walked out feeling lighter and in such a better mood. Step four, make tomorrow easier. I filled up my water bottle, soaked my almonds and seeds, and got my office outfit ready. Nothing major, just less things to worry about for tomorrow. And finally, step five, claim one win from the day. So I asked myself, what did I actually get done today? And there was more to be proud of than I thought. Maybe getting back on track isn't about doing more, but about clearing the noise and finding some space to breathe.
