HR people are mad at me for exposing the strategies that help candidates get hired faster

Apparently I’ve upset HR with this one. 😂 But that’s exactly the point of a strategic brief. You’re not walking into an interview and repeating your CV. You’re showing the hiring manager that you’ve already taken the time to understand their business, the role, the problem they’re hiring to solve and where you could add value. That changes the conversation. Instead of asking, “Why should we hire you?” You’re demonstrating, “Here’s what I understand about your business, and here’s how I think I can contribute.” And yes, some hiring managers will entertain it. Some won’t. But if you can get your work in front of the actual decision maker, why wouldn’t you give yourself another opportunity to stand out? #jobs #jobsearch #careeradvice #career #jobhunting
