Ed Sheeran’s opening act competition feels a little ironic now... Guitar Center launched “Open for Legends”, which was supposed to be a platform for undiscovered musicians to have the chance to perform on a global stage, opening for Ed at his LOOP Tour show in Mexico City. While the competition is still open until 7 October, the timing isn’t exactly ideal after the star has been in the headlines for dropping Macklemore from the tour over his stance on Palestine. Since then, Ed’s lost all his supporting acts and his backing band... so maybe the timing is actually perfect? #EdSheeran #Macklemore #celebrity #looptour
