School dinner series - episode 4 - Cornflake Tart! This was another heavily requested recipe and Nick has confirmed, it is now his favourite of the series so far! 😂 You will need: Short crust pastry ready rolled or make your own 125g butter 300g golden syrup 200-250g Cornflakes (start with 200 then add more if you need to) Jam, as much as you want in your tart Line your tin with the pastry my tin was 9x9 Prick the bottom with a fork Blind bake for around 15-20min on 180 until it’s firm Whilst it’s baking melt your butter and syrup then mix into your cornflakes Spread jam on the bottom of the pastry Add cornflake mix on top and press down so it’s all compact Put in the fridge to set. I left mine for about 3 hours but you can try before that. Another very easy, nostalgic recipe to add to your saved reels!!
