School dinner series - episode 9 - Jam Drops/rounds/thumbprints Ok so I have a list as long as my arm for this series 😂 and as some of you will know, I’m not a pudding or dessert kinda gal and most of the requests are puddings or cookies 😂 Whenever I was asked to make the puddings in the kitchen, it was my most disliked job 😂 but, these were actually really fun to make! Who remembers these?! Recipe below for how to make. 200g self raisin flour 100g marg or butter 100g sugar 1 egg 1tbsp milk Raspberry, strawberry or apricot jam Rub flour and butter to breadcrumb with fingers, add in sugar and keep going with finger tips. Add in the beaten egg and milk then use a spatula to mix until everything is completely combined. Drop equal dollops of the mixture on to a lined baking tray. Make a thumbprint or well in the middle of each one and put a tsp of jam in there. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Enjoy 🫶🏼 - - - #schoolpuddings #schoolfood #schooldinners #schoolmeals #fyp
