Before you walk into work tomorrow, can I remind you of something? You don't have to spend another day trying to prove yourself to people who already decided how they gonna feel about you. You don't have to work twice as hard hoping somebody finally notice. You don't have to explain yourself to everybody. And you definitely don't have to walk into that building carrying distress from yesterday. Tomorrow's a new day. Somebody may speak to you, somebody may walk right past you. Somebody may have an attitude. And somebody might try to pull you right back into that drama you promised yourself you were gonna stay out of. And you know what? Let them. Because tomorrow, I want you to pay attention to what you can control. Your attitude, your work, your response, and where you choose to put your energy. Go in there, do what you're getting paid to do. Be respectful, and stop allowing other people's behaviour to determine what type of day you're gonna have. And then when the shift is over, GO HOME!! Not just physically. I'm talking about mentally, too. Stop taking those people home with you. Stop getting in your car and replaying what somebody said at 10:30 in the morning. Stop sitting at the dinner table thinking about what you should have said. And please stop giving people who aren't thinking about you hours of your personal time. They don't get that, too. So if you're going to work tomorrow, I want You to put I got this in the comments. And when you type that, I want you to mean it. Because maybe tomorrow won't be perfect. Maybe the workplace hasn't changed. Maybe all those people haven't changed. But that doesn't mean that you can't change how much access you're allowing them to take from your peace. You've made it through difficult shifts before. You've made it through difficult co workers before. You've made it through Mondays when you didn't even wanna walk through that door. And guess what? You're still here. So tomorrow, one conversation at a time, one situation at a time, one shift at a time. You've got this. And follow me if you need someone to remind you that your job deserves your work, not your peace, self worth, and your entire life.
