Before you walk into work tomorrow, can I remind you of something? You don't have to earn your respect by overworking yourself. You don't have to prove your worth to people who already made up their minds about you. And you definitely don't have to carry somebody else's bad attitude on your shoulder all day long. Tomorrow you're gonna walk into work, and some people are gonna smile at you. Others may not. Some people will support you, and some may never like you. But don't let their behaviour decide what type of person you're gonna be. Go in with your head held high. Do your job, treat people with respect, protect your peace. And when your shift is over, leave work at work. Don't spend your evenings replaying conversations. Don't let one rude comment ruin the rest of your day. Don't get people free rent in your mind after you clock out. If you're going to work tomorrow, I need you to comment. I got this. I want this to be a reminder that you are stronger than what you think. Remember this. A toxic workplace could affect your day, but it doesn't get to define your life. Keep showing up for yourself, keep protecting your mental health, and keep believing that better opportunities do exist, even if you're not there yet. Take it one day at a time, one shift at a time, with one step at a time. You've made it through very difficult Mondays before, and You can make it through this one, too. Follow me. If you need a reminder every single week that your peace, your mental health and your self worth matters just as much as that paycheck does.
