Hook
I have cracked the code to moving on. This one question genuinely changed everything for me. And as someone who's been put through the ringer with heartbreaks, my last heartbreak wasn't even that hard because of this one question that was repeating in my mind. But first thing you gotta do, and you gotta stop doing actually, is stop telling yourself that this person was your person. They were your dream, that you can't do anything better. They were not your person. Your person would never do that to you. You love them, yes, and they might be the person that you've loved the most in your life so far. But so far and true love are two completely different things and you're confusing them, which is why you're stuck grieving something that was never actually what you deserved in the first place. So the question is, what do you want your love story to actually be? Not the one that you've been settling for. What love story do you actually want? Do you want to tell your kids about one day? Do you want your kids to look up to you and compare all the relationships off of this love story because their parents had it so good? One that you'll look back at the end of your life and say, wow, I'm so, so grateful that I got to experience that. I am so entirely blessed and so grateful because that was my love story. Because life and everything in it is just an experience. And once you understand that, your whole perspective on everything changes. And I know for a fact that your love story, your ideal love story does not include someone who made you feel like a burden. Someone who made you feel like you were too much or like you weren't enough. That is not your love story. That is just simple attachment. You need to understand that your person exists. They are out there. And one day you're going to find them and you're going to be so insanely grateful for every single heartbreak that you've ever endured because that turned you into the person that you needed to be to meet your person. But the longer that you hold on to something that is not right for you, the farther away that everything that is gets pushed.
