Hook
If you were cheated on and stayed, watch this. If you were like me when I was looking all over the internet trying to see if people are able to get past the feeling, get past the anxiety, get if that weight was gonna get off your chest, watch this video. Because I couldn't find a single thing until I finally found this one video that answered that question for me, and I answered the question for myself. And it was a girl, she was cheated on and she said, do you wonder if it ever goes away? She was like, it doesn't. She thought about it on her engagement day, she thought about it when she was proposed to, she thought about it at the wedding, she thought about it at the altar, she thought about it when they got pregnant for the first time, when they were in the hospital giving birth to their first baby, their second kid, all of that. She thought about it constantly. It never went away. And I know that you know that feeling. When there's a really good moment between you two and in the back of your head, bam, there it is. You cheated on me. When you have to take that random deep breath throughout the day, when you're finding it taking over your mind, when it's just it's not going away and you're trying to wonder how much time will it be until I can let this go. It doesn't go away. And you'll either realize that now or you'll realize that whenever you decide that you just can't take it anymore. But I have never met one person that was able to move past that. Maybe that'll be you, maybe that's your story, but in case you are wondering, I just wanna put it out there because I was dealing with that anxiety. I was dealing with the heavy weight and the second that that relationship ended, the weight went away. The nightmare stopped. I was having nightmares so constantly of being cheated on, of being hurt again, of being betrayed. And the second that we broke up, it stopped. I didn't think about it once. It never had that deep breath. It didn't cloud my mind anymore. The nightmares, everything stopped. I'm not gonna act as if the breakup was so easy and, like, no, it was still a breakup, it still sucked. But at the same time, you don't need to live like that anymore. And now me being a long time, a good amount of time since that relationship ending, it is so much better. The mental peace, the clarity, and I truly do believe that you accept what you deserve and you deserve a lot better than being with someone who would ever do that to you. No matter how bad that they feel, no matter how guilty that that they feel, how apologetic whatever it is they've changed, it's very rare. Um, you deserve a lot better than that. And there is someone out there who would never do that to you. But the longer that you stay with someone who did, the farther away you're pushing away everything that's meant for you.
