Anduril put nearly $1 billion of its own money into one factory. The factory is called Arsenal-1, in Ohio, and Anduril announced it in January 2025 to build its weapons at scale, starting with a combat drone called Fury. Production started in March 2026, ahead of the July date Anduril had first set, and the first Ohio-built Fury came off the line that July. That is how Anduril has worked from the start: spend its own money first, then sell something finished. Its border surveillance towers were tested with US Customs and Border Protection in 2019. In 2020 the agency made them an official program, and in June 2026 Anduril announced a $363 million order for more than 200 more.
