If you've ever used a comma in your cold email, I'm about to show you exactly why you should never do that again. I run an A.I. Email Software Company. We see millions of emails every single month and the data is pretty conclusive. The more long sentences you have in your email, the worse your reply rate is. People don't like reading them. The way people read email is they scan it, they don't actually read. And so including these long, bulky sentences, it becomes harder to scan through. If you see commas in your writing, an easy rule of thumb is delete them. Put a period in their place. And what you'll do is you'll start breaking up ideas into these short, choppy thoughts, and that is going to work way better and you're going to see more replies.
