Marketer, this is your daily reminder that you are NOT a brain surgeon

We’re not heart surgeons, we’re not on the front line. Yet I know it can be hard as a marketer. The goals, the expectations, the volume of tasks, the number of channels, the different metrics, the nit picnitpickingking from sales. And even that as a marketer are job is never truly done - we can always do more: tweak that, optimise that. I read this quote last night “even if someone knocks on your door, you don’t have to invite them to dinner”. I liked it a lot and it made me think about all the times I’d got frustrated by the job of marketer, but the one thing we can control is our mind, and whether we let it in.
